You asked for it, so you got it.
Toilet Paper Roll ![]() Take a TP roll, and completely scotch tape cover one end of it. Then use a black sharpie marker, or whatever, and black out the tape. The tape will determine arrow passage through the roll. Trace onto a piece of paper a quarter size , or 1" circle with a small dot in the center of it. This is your target. Hang, suspend, or somehow place the TP roll with the blackout end facing the target from 2 ft away. From any position, and from 12 yards (8 for the kiddos), shoot through the TP roll at the circle on the paper. Closest to the center dot from the side of the arrow shaft wins the call. Only shots which penetrate the tape will be counted, UNLESS no one penetrates the tape, then we'll just call closest to the dot for the win. Any shot that tears, or punches a hole in the TP roll is a DQ. Have Fun !!! ![]() Rick |

I kept the old frame from my discarded bag target for just such a need.

![]() By the way guys. I know two ft seems a little confusing, because most arrows are longer than that. The tape is just in case someone gets pretty deep penetration into their target butt. Most shots would likely still be in the roll, but didn't want to leave anything to chance. Rick |

This is what I've come up with so far I tried to string I just couldn't get the angle right I feel like that the toilet paper roll is going to have to be in straight line with the Flight of The Arrow so I'm trying to get the end of the paper roll to be elevated a little bit

My only question is that can we make a stipulation where you don't have to put the black tape on it because a 2 9 in Arrow Still Remains inside the toilet paper roll

Use the tape.
See my above post as to why. It also blacks out your ability to really see the dot, and that is also part of the challenge. ![]() Rick |

I shoot many of them. I just don't record the results. The vast majority of them I'm not anywhere in the running anyway. It just helps me keep track of my progress in a way. Breaks up the same ole block dot shooting.

First shot 3-1/4" low and left; 2nd similar distance low right. But hated to waste the cool set-up and nailed that THIRD shot challenge!

Also had a bit of an ooops.
Turns out this little target but is somewhat inadequate for stopping my arrows. Glad the concrete wall was there. |

This was a fun challenge! I was just a little left. Didn't make it through the roll. About 2.5" out.

I'm gonna be out of pocket starting tonight sometime through most of the day tomorrow.
Looks like DWA has it for now. If someone don't jump in here to post a better shot by midnight, he's got the call. Rick |
