My fingers are starting to feel a little tender - been shooting between 7-10 rounds a day(12 each rd) - not all at once but over 2-3 different times a day - do I stop - lay off or keep it up with maybe just cutting back to 5-6 rds a day - suggestions? thx

Might want to back off just a bit until your fingers get conditioned. It is common for them to be sore for a while when starting out. Also, make sure you are taking a deep hook. If you are trying to draw with your fingertips they will be very sore. If you are unfamiliar, Google "archery deep hook" - it makes a big difference.

No problem. Try some Orajel on your fingers. It will numb them a little.

If you're shooting several arrows at a time it might also help to just take 1 out to practice. Gives you a little forced break between shots.

Look up Jeff kavenaugh or how ever you spell it. He has a great video on the deep hook. Jeffer has many instructional videos that help in a lot of aspects.

All the above.+ When you start forcing it just for the numbers and your hurtin', your form is out the window. Better whoa it up a tad!

Try just shooting 12 arrows every day, or every other day. More isn't better, form is more important than # of shots.
