I am building an elevated blind that I will stand up in to shoot. The deer may be fairly close as I am set up for trad gear. The bottom of the stand is 8 feet and I am 6-5 so eye level is 13 ft. How low should the bottom of the windows be?

What we did was build the platform first. We then sat/stood on it and shot at a bag target placed at what we thought would be the closest distance for a shot at an animal then took a measurement for the window. -

mine are 6ft up and I put bottom at 22" I can stand and shoot very close. I have 24" windows so I sit to shoot most distancesComment
