    LL Bean Duck Boot Thinsulate?

I'm stuck trying to pick between the thinsulate vs non-insulated pair.

I plan on getting a pair of LL Bean boots for a ski trip up north. I also want to use these boots as cold weather/ muck boots in Texas late season. Would my feet freeze on a long sit in a non-insulated LL Bean Duck boot and thick wool socks?

I've never had either, but my thought is that I would rather my feet sweat from having too much insulation than freeze from not enough. Cold feet are miserable.

I have owned a couple and the insulated ones are best.

I prefer for Texas the non-insulated LL Bean boots, both in the ankle and full boot sizes. Wool socks is your ticket in both cold and Texas weather.

Been a long term Bean boot wearer in both the northern states and TX
