                The 39C was only made 1963-1967 and less than 10,000 were made. I bought this one new in, I believe, 1965.

                          On the left is a 1964 marlin Marauder in 35 remington. No it is NOT for sale.
                          On the right was my first deer gun in 1984 a marlin 30AS(basically a 336 no frills).

                          I have a Savage 99 in 300 Sav made in 1923 that is buried in the safe. Have to dig it out. It too is all notched up from kills.
