There was a tree hugger camped out in a tree on Berkley trying to save it. She lost her grip and slid down the tree getting splinters all in her legs. When the ER doctor was questioned why it was taking so long to remove the splinters he told them law suits had been filed halting the required permit to remove old growth timber from a recreational area.....

I've hugged a tree or two in my lifetime. But only after the bottom of my climbing stand came loose when I was 15-20 foot up.
