Never gone dove huntin before. Hoping to get out there this season. I have one shotgun, two barrels. So I will be using a 12 ga with mod barrel. Seems more fitting than 18" cylinder.
I like your third option but I think you shoot the wrong barrel first..
I think we've had this discussion before, but I'm old. I shoot I/C first on top barrel, mod on bottom next. Close shot first, ****it shot next. What is your thought process for shooting bottom barrel first?
For those that shoot I/C then skeet, what's your reason? I shoot skeet first because I wait until the bird gets as close as possible, and, after I miss, I/C to shoot at them as they leave. Of course, my thinking is that the skeet tube is more open than the IC. Right?
