Older Bows

I’m just curious, does any one still shoot older bows as they’re primary?

I shoot a Mathews DXT, got it in 2010. I’ve considered getting a new bow for a few years now, but I just can’t justify it. My DXT shoots great, I know it and quite literally love the thing. I think it will be a while longer before I will get another, but I will keep this one regardless.

What do you shoot? How old is it? Do you hesitate when considering something new?

I’m curious, I would like to know where you stand.

Just had new strings put on my z7 extreme. Shot a new Traverse today...took all w/i me to hang it back up and walk away.

I shoot an Oneida Lite Force Magnum, I think it was built in the late '90s.

Shot a Triax today, I liked it but can’t part with my Energy 32. I know it’s not that old but still very attached to it.

I have a Triax but still shoot and hunt with the best Mathews bow ever made......switchback!

Still shoot a MonsterMR7 nearly every day. I think it is a 2010.

I too have a Matthews DXT as my back up bow and just can't let it go... Primary is a PSE DNA now but I do like the DXT.

2013 Mathews creed, this is the longest I’ve kept a bow. Plan on getting a new one probably the year after next

Switchback XT. Hard to get a new one when this bow shoots lights out.
I’ve shot a couple of 150’s and 140’s, never let me down.

I shoot a 2009 Mathews Drenaline. still shoots great cant justify spending the money for a new one.

Still shooting my 2000 Mathews Q2XL. Haven’t even thought about buying a new bow. I know a lot of people who have much newer bows that I can still outshoot.
