I want to thank Cowtown Bowmen for hosting this event. They did a wonderful job.

I also want to thank ALL of our GREAT Texas ASA shooters that braved freezing temperatures all weekend to participate in this shoot.

Here are some pictures from Cowtown's Jan. 30-31, 2010 record setting qualifier.

Thanks for the kind words Mike. A long list of dedicated archers spent long hours in Jan. to get the range ready for this shoot. We are looking forward to hosting state in July and should have even more improvments completed by then..
          Nice Pics

Mike, you omitted another Texas ASA Federation record that was set at this shoot. 14 Trad shooters at a Qualifier (plus several more that just entered as a fun shoot). But alas no Trad pics.

You are so right. The traditional shooters are very, very important to Texas ASA. I want to thank Todd for getting a great bunch of new traditional shooters to this shoot. I have been working with the clubs on making sure the shots from the traditional stake is a good fair one for you guys.

I am sorry about no pictures of traditional shooters. The trad guys shot Saturday at the same time that I did but on a different range.

On Sunday I was up to my you know what in alligators trying to get thru registration while you guys shot. We were only 1 hour and 15 minutes late getting started. I usually always get traditional shooters pictures. I will do better next time. I promise.

Sorry Mike. I really did not mean to appear to be whining. You, Tracy, and Todd were definitely up to your what in alligators on Sunday. This was my first ASA Qualifier and I was very impressed at how well it was organized with such a rush of participants.

I just wanted to point out that yet another Texas ASA record was set.

Also please don't worry that the Trad stakes are set "fair for us guys". We're shooting against each other (not the compounders). Compared to Trad shoots they were actually quite short.

You and Tracy do a great job.
