Whirlpool or GE water softener?

My water softener tank went out and I’m looking for a replacement today. Can’t afford a high end one so I’ve got it narrowed down to a GE and whirlpool model for same price and comparable capacity’s. Any recommendation or experience with either one? They are both $497 but GE comes from Home Depot and Lowe’s has the whirlpool. I’m leaning towards the GE

I ordered a fleck online. Don't remember the website but it was about $500 and we got it in a couple of days.. Amazon has the fleck 5600 for $550. We are on year 8 or 9 with no problems. Had a GE which lasted about 2 years
