    Score East Texas Bruiser!

New property, found a big open ridge in the middle of a thicket littered with scrapes. I put my camera on a group of three scrapes with several licking branches above them. This was the first buck to show up....

I think I could catch him crossing a pipeline that is nearby with my rifle but I am going to try and get it done with my bow. Fixing to go hang a stand now!

Be careful, I would put money on that area being close to a bedding area or it is a bedding area.

As much as I despise hunting out of a ground blind, I think it will be the right choice for this spot. Should be able to blend it in really well.

0" score, because this is tomfoolery. No big deer like that in East Texas.

                (seriously though, he's a hoss.)
