Elk got us again this morning. 4 bulls coming off the fields but we could not get ahead of them. They kickin our a$ses.

Valiant effort to say the least. Y'all have stayed with them and I respect that. I'm still resting up for a last ditched effort to get one down. Good luck on the rest of your trip.

Our last hunt this evening.

We spooked a bull with the truck early this morning before daylight that headed up to the north pasture. Gonna go solo and try and kill him since the winds should be good. Gonna slowly work several canyons and open parks.

We are done....tag soup doesn't taste so had if you give it your all. It rained for 2 hours this evening so it was a washout.

I'm outside and the elk are bugling like crazy in the fields. Of course they came down after dark.
