Wind is terrible up here. If we go up anymore it would be blowing right to them. We r headed down to not blow them out. At least 9 bulls bedded up here but they are silent now.

We headed back to camp. These elk usually come down in the evenings to go to the hay field. Gonna make a plan for tonight.

Nothing tonight. Not a peep and nothing seen. Hope they come down overnight.

Its a grind but we r headed up this morning. No bugles on the hayfield last night but they've been silent for 2 days.

Man these bulls are like ninjas. We had a plan to drive and get ahead of the elk when they come off the hay field. We did that and spotted 2 bulls and 2 cows. We tried to get into position so they would go right to us but the wind funnels down to them.

This not was over in 15mins. We will regroup and see if anything will answer a bugle. Very quiet this morning with no bugles so far.
