And I'll say it again and again and again...... You are a machine when it comes to killing freaking jolly rancher toads!

              Congrats on another non-disappointing thread...ha

I saw the pics from the hunt on FB, they are awesome.
                She did great!

Thanks for the kind words everybody.

When our group got booted off our South Texas lease in 2009, I was heartbroke..It was my first really good lease and I put a lot into my pasture, only to be undermined by the cattle rancher who took advantage of all our hard work.

                I miss the brush country.
Here's the old thread about how I got here, sometimes its fun to look back.
I sure was uncertain about the panhandle.

Well looky there, I think my post in that thread said...... "I have an idea, you will find great things coming out of that shelter belt, and grass fields." Wow, what a a lucky "ideal" if I say so myself....ha ha

Again, what a toad that you have added to an already unreal harvest collection...

Love the panhandle whitetails. I get to hunt in Collingsworth Co every year too. There are some giant deer around there.

Where abouts in Collingsworth are you?

Hindsight...Yours and several others comments in that old thread were spot on.
TBH is great, I've learned a lot. But I usually have to read stuff twice.

That is one hoss of a buck. Sure is good to read that you got him after watching him all summer. Do you think that cloudy eye was blind at this point? Do you remember what the other eye looked like? I didn't know they got cataracts like that.

I enjoyed reading the original thread when the hunting area was new to you. You have definitely done a great job on the property. That buck is a true brute both in size and horns.

Congratulations again on another exceptional buck and enjoyable thread.
