Got out to the lease in Water Valley this weekend with the kids. Put out another 3,000 lbs of protein and got another feeder set up in an area that I think is going to be primo. Everything is greened up, fingers crossed it stays that way. Saw a ton of deer and turkey. Couldn't ask for better weather to get a little work done.

Headed out this weekend as well, hopefully get to squeeze in some turkey hunting. I thought about putting a camera up just for the heck of it, but I will probably just wait until my normal June, July to put them up. It sure is tempting though.

I checked mine a few weeks ago and had several bucks showing nubs and 2 of them had about 2-3" bases. Gonna check this weekend and see what they look like now!

They start replacing/growing as soon as they shed but there is nothing on my wireless cameras worth talking about yet....nubs to a couple inches.. Come on rain and July

I just got back 4 days ago, nothing but nubs. Did stick a turk though. Yeah Im braggin.

Went down last weekend as well green pasture and Turks everywhere. Got to here a group of 20 jakes gobbling their butts off which was pretty neat. Stuck a few hogs and put some buckshot in others. Buddy got two long beards.

I haven't seen more than about 2" growth so far. It does appear that feeder activity has picked up this week. I'm sure a lot of the green growth isn't quite as tender and new as it was but pasture sure looks good still.
