after that how do you go back to shooting low-fence 150'' deer?

Just keep it in the proper perspective. He was a trophy on the ranch I killed him on. You can’t kill what isn’t there. Each ranch will be different on what is considered a trophy. If I’m ever lucky enough to shoot a 170 low fence buck I’ll probably be more proud of it because of all the time and work that went into it.
