I don’t see how the hunting can be any better than it is right now in our area.

I think every sub pop is a little different. I love hunting turks any time of the season, but my days have been limited in the last couple of years due to kiddos obligations, work, etc. I'm just saying my preference would be about the 3rd weekend in my region if I only had one time to go. Ya'll keep whacking them, gobble gobble!

Turkey time!!!!!! Which week do you prefer??

Hunting is on fire now in South Texas

I went to the ranch this past weekend and couldn’t find my turkey choke so I got ticked off and left without my turkey gear. I turned it into a work weekend and every time I turned off the chain saw or wheeler I heard a Tom gobbling.

Good news is my best buck from last year made an appearance after the season.
