Hybrid Broadhead Questions

I've got some 125gr Axe Hybrid broadheads coming in today. Anyone had any luck with them?

I've read up on several hybrid designs (Gravedigger, Xecutioner, Grim Reaper) but haven't seen much on this particular head, or on Dead Ringers for that matter.

It seems like the weak point will be that it has a long ferrule. Since thats the case with all of these except for the Grim Reaper, why is it that no major manufacturer has come out with a short ferrule rear deploying hybrid head? (I know there are a few franken heads out there)

I would think that something similar to the Ulmer Edge with a 1 inch fixed blade with 2 inch rear deploying blades would be a hit.

Opened the package when I got home. All of them spun true on my spin tester.

Only concern is that the fixed blade on them was not very sharp, and a few had significant burring, but I was able to touch them up with my lansky bowsharp. All of the swing out blades were razor sharp.

If the rain lets up I'll post back on how they fly.
