    What’s your definition of “smaller”?

Like a 42mm or the small fold up hand sized ones?

      I love my leupold Yosemite’s.
Go 8x. But I actually carry the 6x. For rattling, Turkey or hogs they are worth much more than they cost.

My 10x42 vortex crossfires are small enough for most bino harnesses...

My personal favorite has been the 10X25 Leica compact that I have. I also have a pair of 9X25 Leupold and like them too, but the 10X is just a little bit better. Both are very clear, and I have used the Leicas on night time hog hunts successfully. They gather light really well. I got my wife a pair of the compact Nikon's and they are nice too, but a little bigger. The Leica and Leupold pairs, I hang the strap around my neck and stick the binoculars in my shirt pocket... no bouncing around, quiet and protected.
