Trigger Pull Weight?

I have a Savage Axis 270 that currently has a 6.5 lb trigger pull weight. Just ordered a timney trigger. What do y’all have your triggers set for?

2.5 seems a good compromise to me, 3 at the most.

I have mine at 2lb. With a good trigger 2lb is still pretty light for a hunting rig

Save yourself a few dollars and cut 1.5 rings off of the trigger spring. Made a BIG difference in my trigger pull on my Axis. Breaks clean at 4lbs now.

Mine are 2oz to 2lbs...it simply depends on the application of the rifle & would you should be in the heavier range. Practice with it if you don't have comparable triggers.

I'm pretty sure my jewells are set to 2lbs.

They feel like 100lbs when I'm at the bench.

1.5 to 2 lbs in a hunting rifle. When your fingers are numb or wearing gloves etc that seems like a good spot. But if your really worried about it the non set function on mine is 3.5 lbs and perfectly functional, but I use it in the set position at 2 lbs 95% of the time.
