Water trough algae killer?

Have black saltines in mine!!! Biggest concern is coons and birds getting them. Still have some after a yr.

goldfish will keep the algae clean as well as eat the mosquito larva

That's double what I paid for mine!
They were 10 for a dollar. I got robbed!

Every time I tried fish the coons ate them. I throw a chorine tablet in every so often

Wow we got some awesome answers to this issue! I’m going to try the fish idea first and if that doesn’t pan out then the Mrs. Stewart’s which by the way was what I had remembered from before but couldn’t think of the name! Lol
Like the idea of fish eating the skeeters too! Thanks for all the suggestions guys!
