McHugh out for at least 6 weeks with a bad elbow. It will be longer for sure as that is when he will be re-evaluated. Surgery is still a possibility. The Astros really need to figure out what the heck they are doing with these individual throwing programs. Dallas and Lance definitely didnt benefit last year from their's. So far the entire starting staff looks great so he isnt going to be missed yet.

That sucks...and I agree on the throwing program comment.... I was concerned as hell when I heard they added McHugh to it..and then he got hurt...

I had never heard of an individual off season program until they put Dallas and Lance on one last year. Maybe the other clubs do it as well with certain pitchers. I would really like to hear what it is all about regarding rest and throwing.
