Chicken Fried Steak

The "favorite burger" post was revived, and it got me to thinking. When I go to a restaurant, I usually get a burger or CFS.

So what restaurant serves your favorite chicken fried steak?

I did the same thing on the burger post...but I am going back to the '90s. I am not for sure if it is still there or not, but Snook had a restaurant called Czech Tex. It had a dang good, and big, chicken fried steak.

Now with that said, we do CFS often at the lease and nothing really beats that!

Elm creek in Lincoln had/sometimes still has a very good one

Hard to find a really good one anymore. Too much batter and fried to hard for my taste. I like my moms the best. Cooked in the skillet with a thin soft crust

Babe's has a good one. Old Texas Brewery does too. Razzo's isn't bad either.

Moutons in Leander is really really good and not greasy. Surely someone from my area can back me on this one.

Bill and Rosa's Steakhouse in D'Hanis. Hands down one of the favorite ones I have ever had, and I have eaten A LOT of CFS. I haven't tried the place in Strawn though, I want to go there next
