I've got a grade VI in a 3 bbl set, beautiful gun but sits in the safe when the other O/U's come out to play

Check out the Beretta EELL, love the looks of that gun.

Check out the benelli 828u. They are a little different than classic O/U but they are good looking shotguns and really nice to shoot.

I went and shouldered every nice shotgun I could find for about 3 months. I kept going back to a Browning 725 and a CG. I liked the way the CG felt better than the 725. But I couldn't make myself like it $2800 for the 725 to $7900 for the CG. I'm real happy with the 725.

I hear ya. I would like to stay $2800-$3000. $3500 will be absolute max.
