Back in it. Swapped stands because the cows were still camped out where I hunted this morning. I have an 8pt at this set that would be really hard to pass up. Wind is kicking pretty good and I bumped a doe coming in. i probably didn’t wear enough clothes for this hunt! Let me get situated and I’ll fill y’all in.

This spot is on the same shelter belt as where I hunted this morning just about a 1/2 mile east of it. Ironically we rarely get pics if the same deer on these stands. I’m in a 10’ tripod that’s quite a bit more open than what I usually like. Cover is pretty limited here so I’m hoping they don’t look up.
It’s wide open to the north and the thickest cover we have on the property is to the south. I’m interested in seeing how much I can get away with here. I’m also convinced that a lot of the deer that use this belt aren’t getting their pictures taken. The 9pt that I bumped this morning uses this feeder a lot. If he comes in I may need y’all to talk me out of it! He’s a 3 year old that’s crowding 145”.
