I think my co-workers have a screw loose scheduling that meeting. I told them it was a holiday.

I think I'll have to call into this meeting instead of being there in person.

I did a pre-emptive strike by requesting 3 days leave starting on the 6th. No way was I going to miss this weekend.

If I can slide out by 1pm or so, I can go straight to my bow stand on Friday evening while all the gun hunters are sitting around yanking their pud.

I wonder how well my phone will work dialed into the meeting while I'm driving west?

And now that you mention it, I am feeling a little fever-ish. :cough: :cough:

As I sit here typing at home..I'm remain fearful of a call to travel next week, when I am suppose to be hunting in Pike County, Illinois. It would be a call, I couldn't refuse......which I hate.

Note to all my kids......be your own boss at all costs!

got told yesterday that we were gonna start working saturdays , first time in twelve years, starting this saturday!!!

My 10 year old sons season (along with time with PawPaw - a rifle hunter), starts this weekend..so we have two opening seasons (which is even better)!
