Default South Texas trail cam 1st round
Well we got our first good round of pics. WE are really dry here in Webb County but our ranch has permanent water throughout the ranch for cattle. Our tanks are about 3/4 down so we could use some rain. The deer have really pounded the protein and cottonseed these last few weeks so that they could finish out. Now they are just bulking up for rut. Here are some of this year's pics. Hope everyone has a great season. We will really need to knock back our herd this year if the drought keeps up. We are low fence MLD on 16,000 acres. Good luck and may everyone get a big one his year.

You can count me in on any help needed with reducing the herd... whatever is considered a cull would be a trophy to me.

This will be our 17 year. Age and nutrition is the key and the ranch has some fine native genetics.

Thanks Dustin. The Ghost unfortunately has not been seen in 2 years. He was around 8 when we last saw him. I think he has gone to the Happy Hunting Grounds.

We where issued 80 buck tags and 100 doe tags. Way more than we can shoot and eat.
