Default Church Shooting Sutherland Springs

Hearing some reports of a mass shooting/ active shooter situation at a baptist church in Sutherland springs. Anyone hearing any details? Man this is close to home!

Lord,

We will never be able to make sense of such wanton tradgedy. Your Word tells us of the evil that “roams” and how he can twist the heart of mankind to do the most heineous things. Lord as I struggle with the outrage of wanting justice, I trust that these dear loved ones are in Your presence. Thank you Lord for that peace, even if it is the only peace to be had, then we know that these will suffer no longer.

Lord if this turns out to be “more”...then i pray Your swift hand if justice to befall those that helped...i pray Your righteousness judgement on them and their actions. May it be swift and eternal.

Lord help those that have lost...may your Spirit lend comfort.

In Jesus name.

Amen

I can't understand how someone could twist off so bad to want to shoot up a bunch of people anywhere, much less in a church!

During a Sunday morning church service, a gunman opened fire. Initial reports said 16 were shot. Now it appears as many as 27 may have been killed. “Multiple casualties and fatalities” have been confirmed by the local sheriff, Joe Tackitt. Witnesses state a man “in full gear” entered the church before 11:30am local time. According to local reports, at least 50 people were in attendance during the service.

I wonder if it was a coincidence that it happened opening weekend. I was thinking most of those country boys would be carrying, and then realized those same guys would probably be at the deer lease this weekend.

Prayers up.
