God bless those that passed and ^^prayers up^^ for those wounded!!

Someone said that the shooter had multiple weapons with drum magazines. 8 guns and 2 "shooting platforms" as well as cameras setup to watch approaching police. They identified the room because all the cordite set off the smoke detector in his room. Absolutely sickening.

Very, very sad. Can't imagine what drives a person to do something like this. Makes me sick.

The cadence of the auto fire sounded like an AK from the video I listened to.
Not fast enough for an M16 or M60. Maybe a homebrew device for an AR15 like a lightning link which are slower firing than the real mc coy.

Sad situation and will certainly be politicized to the max by the wacko libs.

How do you get 8 guns and 1000+ rounds of ammo into the hotel without causing some suspicion?

This is no "snap"... premeditated for sure

Fox reported earlier that the DB has been in he room since Sept. 28. My guess would be it was all brought in a little at a time.

I don't think he got this fully auto gun legally. No way to prevent dirtbags selling guns amongst each other.

If you're going to push for a ban like that then you might as well push for hyper-tight security to enter hotels and buildings. Are we ready for the inconvenience that would bring? Look at how ****** people get over the TSA searches.

Man what a shame. Crap like this even furthers my need to get the heck outta town ASAP. I wanna move to the country, and stay in my own little world. I know this crap can happen anywhere but atleast I'll see it coming. Makes me not want to go to the fair today. I know you can't live your life in fear but with all the crazy *******s running around I can sure avoid any large crowds.

I have a friend who is LEO in Vegas, All I got out of him this morning was "It is a blood bath" Keep praying for those folks that were in it and those that have to deal with it. The PTSD that will hit the First Responders will be great as well.

Then ban rocks since Cain used one too murder his brother, fertilizer that McVeigh used for OK City and planes the Taliban used on the World Trade Centers.

That won't make it stop. People have been mass murdered by bombs, trucks, and knives recently as well. It's a evilness that I can't fathom. Once these people decide to hurt innocents, they do it with whatever is handy. That's what makes it all so sad and frustrating.

Is this just an emotional gut reaction or are you serious?

If he'd killed 500 instead of 50 by using fertilizer, would you call for a national ban on farm chemicals?

What about the rest of us who own these guns and don't kill people with them?

Not an fully automatic weapon. I'd bet a steak dinner. It sounded like either a slide fire stock or more likely a rebound type trigger.
