Default Prime Time LIVE!!!

Iíve got just shy of 500í left on this well and I will be pointed towards some pine trees! Iíve been gone almost a month, I miss my babies and my wife, and things are definitely heating up in the piney woods!

Iíve been getting updates on the kiddos from Steph

Iíve been getting updates on the woods from all my buddies.

And I have had just about all of West Tx that I can stand! My bad *** wife dumped some corn out at my backyard stand just a few min ago. Iíll leave here at around 6pm and itís a ~10hr drive home. Thatíll be just about right for me to grab a shower and jump in my climber. Itíll be a short hunt so I can have breakfast with the kiddos before they go to school and the Iíll be Trinity Co bound.

Pour the weight to the bit and crank up the RPM's. Who cares if you get back out of zone for a little bit. Heck you might find a new pay!

Do you remember those Shurshot clocks that measured deviation on vertical holes? How it marked a little ding in the target to show deviation?

Ahh, look at the cute little weight indicatorNothing like recharging the battery in the deer woods. Just started my hitch in Bulgaria, I'll tell you what. Wish we had this weather back at home last couple of weeks. 49 degrees cloud cover and a light misty fog/drizzle. Don't look like we'll be flying out today. Hope not. I could use a little rest. Good luck out there and enjoy your days off with family and time in the woods.

3 Years ago I would have pushed it all the way home. I canít leave my kiddos without a dad these days.

On the dad note... Steph was at Walmart getting some things yesterday and as they were checking out the lady working asked Adalee, ďAre you going trick or treating for Halloween?Ē She said, ďNo maíam, Iím going hunting with my daddy!Ē

Proud dad moment!

Back on the road, weíll get in a tree this evening.

Man talk about hitting the nail on the head. It's freaking awesome right now. I'm down to 4 hunts left. I leave for an anniversary weekend in Houston Friday night and leave for Florida on Monday for work. I'll call you when I get down and give you an update. Bucks everywhere that have been nocturnal making daytime appearances

Good luck. Glad you stopped and slept. Following this. Saw a buck running 2 does in a drainage area in the woodlands this morning. I'm headed to Centerville Friday. No stands set up, no feeders, but I'll find a scrape and a spot to sit. Been too busy with work to breathe let alone hunt. And I'm itching like I have fleas.
