Guns just avg or a little above average. One custom. But, I expect to keep a good chunk of cash in it, and all our important paperwork.

Get twice as big as you think you need. As far as safes go, you can throw the fire ratings out the window (for the most part). In a house fire, it really doesn't matter, your guns will be cooked/baked. Your main concern is "theft resistance". Get a safe with large, locking bolts on ALL sides so the door can't be pried open and get a big, heavy safe that can't be carried/dragged out the back door of the house by two guys.

Protect your valuables with secure safes and vault doors from Graffunder.

And don’t tell any more people you plan to keep a “good chunk of cash” in it.

Don’t buy any safe under 1,000 pounds.

All brands are good....things to look for...
Locking Lugs-open the door and close the lock and see how many lugs are coming out, more is better than less
Fire Rating-check the rating and look at the seal around the door
How many guns will it hold-look at how many long guns you have versus short barrels guns, (shotguns)
Storage space for hand guns and other stuff
Look at how guns are stored back to front....a slimmer safe means more guns in the back that to get to, you must unload from the front to get to the back, wider will mean less you need to take out

Lol. I did think about that about 30 minutes after I posted it. That may just stay in a safety deposit box at the bank now that I think about it.
