So I got a used golf cart, now what?

I hit up a golf coarse going out business today, and got a good running cart and one without batteries and a possible broken frame. Batteries are 4/16 and got a charger with each one. So I got the other one for parts or maybe to get running and sell. So what are some good websites or forums for me to learn about these things? They are 36v, is it worth it to convert to 48v? Thanks

Buggies gone wild is your best bet for everything golf cart.

I was hoping it was not Lampasas. Looks like you have a couple that will work out good for ya. I might be selling my ezgo for parts ( lift kit mainly) it is a gasser and quit a few months ago.

I give $1,200 for the working one, and $200 for the one with no batteries.

PM Hal (BowSlayer) on here. He's the residential expert on golf carts around here IMO.

They had a bunch of the $200 ones, but no more that runs.

I almost bought one, but after my last piece of crap cart I decided to pass. Lol.

Buggies gone wild has a very active group a lot like TBH! They’ve given me a bunch of advice over the time I spent on my rebuild of 99 EZ-Go TXT gasser. Ended up swapping out original motor for a vtwin Briggs 16 hp, 6” lift and lots of clutch and engine tuning support.

                            My build thread:

                            Have fun!
