Snug as bug in a rubbermaid bucket in the room right outside our bedroom. Scared the poo out of me. Got the dogs locked up and Cotton killed it with a broadhead. Nothing like watching a rattlesnake get his head sawed off. Spent the next several hours searching for relatives so did not make the morning hunt. Gross, I HATE SNAKES.

From a lack of sleep the night before we overslept the nap and almost did not make it out for the evening hunt. Got up less then 40 minutes to feeder going off.

Is that a sign of the "elder years" creping up? (insert me ducking) Just how much can you sleep in one day?

Congratulations on getting a VERY nice buck for your first one, Cat. And congrats to both of you on another year of marital bliss!
