    I used to wear the wool too.

    Another choice may be to go by cycling shop and take a look at what they have. I don’t remember having cold feet or hands when I rode. Cycling gloves and socks.

        Merriwool has threee pair of kids merino wool socks for $15.99. 75% wool and won't break the bank buying for kids whose feet grow so quick.

          They are neoprene. Work awesome, but if you sweat, there is zero wicking and the sock fills up with water. Feet stay warm though .
