Ultegra 11-28 here. With the standard 53-39 up front it covers what I need... up to and including the Tour das Hugel (~14k feet of climbing in 105 miles).

In other news, my jersey came in:

Working on a Driveway Series jersey starting next week.

Anyone doing the 6-hour race at Warda this weekend?

Joined the strava group, I'll be at the bottom every week.

Get busy, it's not that hard to be in the top 1/3 !

I refuse to ride on the road with the idiots that can't put their phones down. I'll stick to my 4.5 mile mountain bike trail that I can ride after work. Takes 40-45 minutes to make the loop and my heart rate averages 160ish, that'll work for me.

I understand completely, I always ride with a group and it’s easier to see groups than a single rider.

                    NICE!!!!

I was going to race it but my new ride is not here yet and work is way to busy to get away for long.

Rode the Flume trail above Lake Tahoe yesterday with my dad. Awesome views and great downhill after the 4 mile climb.

Yep...I see both of them every dang time I walk in the garage. Have had a lot going on...but skipping the bike ride is about to change.

I'll be turning the count over to Jakroo tomorrow.

                            Hotter'N Hell Hundred

Hey guys, we've got a few spots left in the Official Pace Group at Hotter'N Hell.

Coupon code "TBH" will get you 15% off.

                            Registration link is here: https://www.bikereg.com/pacegroup

What is the Pace Group? First we finish the 100-mile endurance ride in under 5 hours, so if a sub-5 century is on your bucket list, this is the ride for you! (And drafting in a pack is an easy way to do it!)

Second, we do it in style:
15-minute head start ahead of the crowds.
Full support including domestiques*, lead and follow cars, and escort motos.
Air-conditioned Finish Line Lounge, including food and drinks (read: beer).
                            Custom Hincapie jersey.
Free event photos from our photographer.

*What does a domestique do? Those are the helpers in the Tour, so we will ride tempo on the front, keep you supplied with water bottles, and stop and change your flat and get you back in the group.

It's a great way to ride HHH. This is our 9th year, we've sold out every year, and many of our riders come back year after year.

Let me know if you have any questions.

If anyone needs a back up bike (or has an itch for an upgrade), I just bumped up my Trek Domane in the Classifieds. Good luck at HHH.

You ever consider having police escort? If you have 10 riders in your group, have every one chip in $5 or so, and have an off duty officer follow you with his lights on. I'd pay for a safe ride. I guarantee you your group will grow and then you will enjoy cycling again.
