Good article, I enjoy both my 270 & 308 but lean for my 270

I've always preferred a short action but after hunting in extreme winds last week, that fast little 270 seems nice

Good read indeed. I’ll always be a 308 fan for a few reasons.

            Decent read.

I've never considered comparing the two. But I have a lot of redundant calibers anyways.

I own both and love shooting either one.

The problem with the article is that the only way a 150 308 beats a 150 270 at distance, is if they are comparing a spitzer in the 308 against a round nose in the 270. For a fair comparison, if you take something like serria GK bullets, that are loaded in both rounds, the 150 270 has ~ a .1 ballistic coefficent advantage over a .308 150 Game king. AKA, at like muzzle velocities, the higher BC bullet will have an advantage at distance. No wonder no one knows what's going on with ballistics, even the "professional" gun writers can't be trusted to not spout BS. And i don't even own a 270

Are you talking about bullets or women?

Long train is harder to stop than short train?

I only shoot 130’s in my .270. Easy on me
