Enchanted Rock Report

Me and my group were drawn for Enchanted Rock SNA either sex gun hunt. I believe there were thirteen hunters. 19 deer taken. Mostly does and spikes, all whitetail. Staff was helpful and cordial. There was one 120 class 8pt taken. Overall a very enjoyable hunt. I was holding out for a good buck and passed several small bucks. I ended up taking a doe. Three velvet horned “cactus” bucks were taken. All spikes.

Hate to say it, they need to let that place sit a couple of years and repopulate. Grow those bucks a little bigger. Congrats on the meat.
