A stitching question for the leatherworkers -type of stitch??

I just got all the holes punched - don't know if I'll get all the lacing done tonight or not but I'm gonna give it a try.

You say lacing, or you lacing it or stitching it? A Whip with lace would really look good on this. If you want to lace it just stick a lacing fid or an awl through the holes you drilled to change the shape to fit lace.
