          Every time I open my water meter I'm careful. I always expect one to be there, I guess it just seems like a perfect place for a snake to hang out! Still to this day haven't had one in there though...

                We have a small valve box in the yard at the deer lease house where we turn the water on/off. I always look before I stick my paw in there. No snakes yet, but there have been centipedes and scorpions.
