Video Doorbell

I would like to buy or build a system like "Ring Video Doorbell" but It seems to me the better way to do it would be a hidden camera separate from a normal looking doorbell button and speaker in the house so it really gives the impression someone is in the house.

Anyone know of a system available or a simple way to build my own that I can tie in to my home wifi system that will like to my iphone?

I have a ring video door bell and a nest outdoor camera on the side of the house.

I would go with two nest outdoor cameras if I was to do it over again.

The nest just works a whole lot better and their app is more user friendly.
