How long does it take a woman to mow 10acres on a riding mower?

Easy, fill up the gas tank, open the gas cap, light a bottle rock, insert into gas tank, run away. That will take care of it.

            Winner.

To the OP: Unless y'all have a room full of old newspapers stacked up in chronological order, I can't fathom how this is even an issue. That said, there's **** in my attic we'll NEVER use, so...

I have nothing to add that hasn't already been eloquently said, so I'll just pad my post count.

that's literally the worst idea I've heard all morning. just make it disappear.

in 20 years we'll be mowing with lasers

Just sell it, tell her you parked it in the shed, then in 20 years you can tell her you sold it and get your *** kicked then. Gives you 20 years to prepare for the arguement, so you should have a good chance of winning

I can appreciate a guy wanting to keep momma happy in the name of trying not to lose any $. However, even if you winterize/preserve it, and it sits for 20 yrs, all the hoses, belts, ( maybe some wiring), the seat, and tires will prolly be dry rotted. Repairing all of that will cost way more than what you lose by selling now. I think I'd store it till spring and try to sell it when peeps are mower shopping. Crank and run it once a month and treat the gas so she'll be gtg until then. So what if it was a bad purchase, most of us have done it and learned...then we move on! Good luck!
