Best river for overnight camping

    I do the Brazos below PK 2-3 times a year, and used to do it 6-8 times a summer when I lived near it. You can do it in 6-7 hours paddle time on a kayak. We've done it a few times in a single day, lots of times for an overnight, and a few times for 2 nights. It's a great trip as well.

          Check out the Colorado. Had an ex co-worker that would put in around Lagrange and camp down river somewhere. He did it all the time and always caught fish. Lots and lots of sandbars to camp on on the Colorado.
