I started this over on the Leatherwall. Thought I should post it over here to see if any may be interested. looks like we may have 5 or 6 guys that are planning to make the trip.

Tags Run $600 OTC and whatever your personal costs run, Think there is a small fee for campground.

There aren't any elk in Colorado......we had a rough winter....wiped out all the herds....

I hear differently, not the winter all the smoke. The hang out in town and the shops and do not return to the mountains. Hear they have the munchies all the time!

I had a good hunt in southern Colorado last season. Two out of 3 killed elk with many seen. Good luck on your hunt.
