I've always been a fan of Berkman. I hated to see him go to the Yanks but I understood it. Now I REALLY hate to see him in St Louis! They are our number one competitor!

I'm just glad he is going to be filling ancillary roles more than playing on the field.

I'm a Cards fan and don't think he was worth the price, considering he will have to play RF to get much playing time. Watched 2 spring training games last week, and I think he got 1 hit in the two games. Of course, Pujols didn't get a hit in either as I recall.

Always like Berkman, but he's too slow to play the outfield full time, and Pujols won't give him much time at 1st.

He has to play RF??? really he isnt that fast for an outfielder. Lance Berkman is ALWAYS a threat and i wish he woulda went somewhere we didnt have to face him
