    Grass ID

    Can someone tell me what type of grasses are included here? This is in Kimble county. Looks like good grass to grow for natural habitat.

    Looks like Spearhead Grass. There is probably a more scientific name for it.

      Looks like Indian Grass but I'm no grass expert.

          In the first picture I think you have rescue grass on the left and switch grass on the right. Rescue grass is the following two pictures.

            I thought rescue grass was more of a cool season grass? This grass is growing good right now in this heat. I believe the grass in the second picture is different as the seed heads are bigger and more round. Here is another picture.

                Yep you are correct. Looking closer this I don't think is rescue anymore.

                    Kleingrass first pic on right.

                    2nd looks like a lovegrass

                    3rd is texas wintergrass aka speargrass
