Yep. I saw a doe that gave birth in late August a few years ago.

Mid way thru Oct one year, I let a doe walk cause she had a fawn that couldn't have been more than a month old.

Sure looks prego. Not very common for this time of year but it does happen.

Late January, early February breeding is certainly possible. As long as the bucks have hard antler, they can breed a receptive doe.

I’ve seen bucks mounted on top of standing doe last week of February before

Average gestation is 201 days so that puts her late February.
They cycle every 28 days so she likely missed her first 2 or 3 cycles depending on when she first went into heat.

Any idea how tight your sex ratio is?

                    Hey Fred,
I have seen them born at the end of Sept. on a number of occasions.

I don't think it is actually hard antler that . . . well, never mind. :-)
