Hunted there years ago. We had success with Dr. Sceery's fawn bleat. Called a Mtn. lion too. It would hold the Muleys until you got tired of blowing on it. Smelled and hear the Javelinas. We walked a lot.
As a bow hunter, I would hunt the water holes at dawn/dusk. Otherwise, I would find a a nice low spot and call during the day.
