New release?

I am looking to get a thumb release this off season, and just want to get some info on some of the best brands or models of thumb releases that are being used for hunting primarily?

Go and try a bunch.

Get one that fits your hand. I see a bunch of folks that buy one that is too big, and it invites some bad habits

Where is the best place to go that will have a good selection?

You might call On Target in Canton, Cinnamon Creek Ranch in Roanoke, or West Houston Archery, and ask what kind of thumb selection they have. Live Oak Archery in Bryan has quite a few TRU Ball and Scott releases, but not Stan or Carter. Maybe someone closer to you will chime in. That could save you a drive.

I don’t mind making a drive for a big selection so I can find the one I like

Take a look at the Nock2It also by J Dudley. I had trouble with Stan durability but love my Carters.
