Contest #62 - THIS Is Why I Love Bowhunting

Contest #62 is open to photos taken between September 21, 2010 and October 4, 2010. Feel free to post older "practice" or "idea" photos on this thread in the mean time.

I will post a contest submission thread on October 3rd where you can post your one contest photo up until midnight on October 4th.

Why do you love bowhunting? Is it the trophy that goes home with you? Is it the shot? What about being so close to deer that you can hear them eat? Is it the sunrise? Is it the sunset? Maybe it's the gnats and mosquitoes of early Fall?

Whatever it is, get a photo that tells your story and enter it in the contest.

I love the preparation.




I love watching the day come and then watching it go while God paints the skies.




I love shooting the breeze in the middle of the day.




I love the hope...




...and the anticipation.




I love the changing colors in the trees.




I just love being there.
