That would be Julia's. Its not bad. Next time you come thru try Taqueria El Cien. Its just east of FM 803. The tacos de bisteque are the bomb. We are going to miss this place when we move to Houston but it will be the first place we eat at when we come to visit.
I am a sucker for Tex Mex. They actually have cheese and onion enchiladas with chile con carne as opposed to that nassty yellow gravy stuff you get at the "mexican" joints.
We were at Clayton's last week while they were still completing the stage. I bet the bar lines and the bathroom lines were horrible! It just seemed like it wasn't quite set up with enough. Still a great bar though.
We made a stop at the island yesterday afternoon. Always eat at Cap n Roys when I'm on SPI and it never disappoints. Last night was no exception. Traffic was a nightmare but to be expected on a holiday weekend. Good times and good eats.

We don't do the Island on Friday or Saturday much less a holiday!
Do yourself a favor and go to the Chef House across in Port Isabel for a lunch. It's a very small place, but it is top-notch cuisine at a great price.
Pelican Station in Port Isabel is owned/operated by the same people as Dirty Al's. Same menu, but might be easier to get into and better service on the holiday week. It's on the water right before you get to the Queen Isabela bridge.
